Marketing ManagerThe primary responsibility of a Marketing Manager is to lead new business development at a construction firm. An important aspect of this job is to formulate an effective marketing plan for the company and coordinate all aspects of the firm's marketing, including advertising and public relations, the identification and development of qualified sales leads, and the establishment of strong relationships with a strategic network of partners and business prospects. A degree and/or experience in marketing and communications - as well as strong relationship skills, a working knowledge of the construction industry and expertise in relationship sales/marketing techniques - are important parts of the marketing manager's skill set. Self-motivated individuals who aren't afraid to take risks and maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm make good marketing managers. |
